Josh Williams stormed the NASCAR headlines early in 2023 when he “parked it” at the start/finish line in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway on March 18th.
The move garnered media attention, t-shirt sales and even a “Checkers or Wreckers” diecast of Williams’ #92 machine as it looked when it was towed from the front stretch to the NASCAR garage area.
Williams’ 2023 season included three top-10 finishes and a 21st place position in the season standings.
This morning, Kaulig Racing announced that Williams and his long-time sponsor Alloy Employer Services will be joining Kaulig Racing and the #11 Chevrolet Camaro.
The Port Charlotte, Florida native looks to capitalize on the 2024 opportunity at Kaulig Racing.
“After only an hour in the shop, I already feel like it’s home,” said Williams. “I’ve known a lot of these guys for a long time, and I felt like coming over here would give us a good opportunity to get wins. That’s the goal, Trophy Hunting.”
Williams will make his first start for Kaulig Racing when the season kicks off at Daytona International Speedway in February. Additional partnership announcements will come at a later date.
