Kevin Harvick just finished his farewell tour in the NASCAR Cup Series on November 5th at Phoenix Raceway, completing his 23rd season in NASCAR’s premier division.
Harvick has been a staple in NASCAR since 2001, where he took over the driving duties of the late Dale Earnhardt after his fatal accident in 2001 at Daytona International Speedway.
The Bakersfield, CA native accumulated 60 wins and one championship in his Cup series career, leading over 232 thousand laps.
Before retiring, it looks that Harvick and his wife Delana made a final large purchase before hanging up the fire suit.
According to the Charlotte Business Journal, the Harvicks purchased the “Ricky Bobby” house located on Lake Norman in Cornelius, NC.
While Ricky Bobby is a fictional character, the mansion used in the 2006 film is very real. The 12,042 sq foot mansion was built in 2002, and includes a six bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, billiards room, a panic room with vault, two docks, a boat lift, sandy beach area, putting green and infinity pool with a hot tub.
Harvick will transition to the role of analyst beginning in 2024 with Fox Sports.
