The 2023 General Election is Tuesday, and besides the governor’s race and other offices in Kentucky, there is a full slate of candidates vying for office in Perry County, Indiana. In the many contested races, seats are up for grabs in Cannelton for Mayor, Clerk-Treasurer, Cannelton City Council districts 1 and 2, and Cannelton Council At-Large. Tell City Mayor Chris Cail is running unopposed, but there are contested races for Council At-Large, and Tell City Council districts 1 and 4. Troy Town Council seats are also being contested. Polls open at 6am local time. You’ll be able to hear a wrap-up after all votes are counted Tuesday evening on CJ 105.7FM and JACK FM (1230AM and 98.7 and 106.7FM).
