Owensboro, KY – Habitat for Humanity Owensboro-Daviess County is hosting its Fall Warehouse Sale
this Saturday, November 11th, 2023, starting at 8:00 AM.
“These sales have become a significant part of our fundraising,” said Jeremy Stephens, Executive
Director at Habitat. “Not only is it an opportunity for people in the community to get a deal, it allows
anyone to support Habitat’s mission. With Habitat’s commitment to doubling our annual housing output,
we remain humbled in our community’s efforts to support the organization as we continue to meet the
need for affordable housing,” Stephens concluded.
The Warehouse Sale will be an opportunity for people who are looking to make home improvements at
a bargain. Habitat Owensboro-Daviess County will accept donations for home goods such as lumber,
interior/exterior doors, new/replacement windows, appliances, furniture, tools, and much more. People
with investment properties or looking to flip houses will not want to miss out on these deals. As always,
100% of donated proceeds will be used to purchase building materials and supplies for the construction
of new Habitat houses.
“We will open the doors to our warehouse on Saturday at 8AM and won’t close them, until everything
is gone,” Stephens concluded.
Habitat for Humanity Owensboro-Daviess County is scheduled to build 9-10 houses in 2023 as well as
a first-time homeowner training facility. It will be the first of its kind in the United States and will be
named Ms. Virginia’s Education and Training Center, in honor of Habitat’s former Executive Director,
Virginia Braswell.
