A motor vehicle accident in Indiana has claimed the life of a Troy woman.
According to the Spencer County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, at approximately 5:17 p.m. On Tuesday, a white Chevy van driven by 22-year old Ezekiel Wannamuhler was traveling Eastbound on State Road 66 just East of Old Lamar Highway when for an unknown reason, Wannamuhler crossed the center line into the path of a Toyota Rav4, driven by 68-year old Debra Scherer of Troy.
Both drivers were injured, Spencer County officials say Scherer passed away from her injuries.
An investigation is being contucted by Indiana State Police.
