(Lexington, KY) — More than 300-thousand people in Kentucky have faced cannabis-related charges in the past two decades. That’s according to a report from the Kentucky Center for Economic Policy.
Kentucky remains one of 18 where marijuana is still criminalized.
A Kentucky Center for Economic Policy analyst says decriminalizing cannabis would have a positive impact on the state. The center says marijuana sales can bring in new revenue and can the help the state provide more resources for its residents.
