(Owensboro, KY)- Windy Hollow Speedway held their annual “Fan Appreciation Night” along with their “Back to School Bash” on August 20th.
The night included a meet and greet with drivers and their race machines on the front stretch, along with reduced admission prices and school supply giveaways.
The night also featured side by side, dirt slinging action on the 3/8 mile D-shaped oval for seven classes including the $1000 to win Crate Late Models which brought drivers from three states to battle for the win. At the conclusion of the Crate Late Model feature, it was Cumberland Furnace Tennessee’s Levi Ashby taking home the $1000 followed by Caleb Ashby, Joe Melton, Jamie Bosecker and Michael Zimmerman.
