On Saturday, July 22, at approximately 3:24 P.M., Officers with the Owensboro Police Department responded to a Firearm Discharge in the 400 Block of Carlton Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered a handgun in a purse had been negligently discharged into an area near a patron of the business. Officers observed a bullet hole in a chair in an adjacent lane. Officers collected and logged into evidence two firearms located inside the female subject’s purse. The female subject was identified as Mary Lewis Boarman (30 years old of Owensboro).
Boarman was charged with:
– Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree
