Fatal Accident On I-75 When Loose Tire Crashes Through Windshield

(Boone County, KY) — A young woman is dead after an accident early Sunday morning on I-75. Eighteen-year-old Lauren Collins was traveling on southbound I-75 through Boone County Kentucky when a tire, that authorities believe had broken free from another vehicle, crashed through her windshield. Collins crashed and was taken to U.C Medical Center for treatment where she later died. The vehicle that lost that tire originally has not been identified.
