A drug case from April has led to the arrest of an Owensboro man. According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were called back in April to the 500 block of Camden Circle in reference to multiple young adults overdosing on drugs. Those people ranged from 17 to 22 years old. Two of those people overdosed and three others were hospitalized. All of them were found to have used cocaine laced with fentanyl, which was sold by 24-year-old Jonathan Martinez. Martinez was arrested Monday on several charges, including trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and two bench warrant charges. More charges could be filed.
