The pastor of an Owensboro church has entered a not guilty plea to theft charges. 62-year-old Kenneth Shaver was arraigned Friday morning. Shaver is charged with theft by unlawful taking, accused in late March of spending more than $10,000 that belong to the church’s operating fund. Shaver had been taken to the Daviess County Detention Center but soon was released on bond. His peliminary hearing took place on April 10th.
