Tell City celebrated the opening of the William Tell Center Friday, with grand opening and open house. According to Mayor Chris Cail, the former German American Bank building at 645 Main was donated to the city for the center in 2022. The grand opening celebration was held at 11am, with the open house from 11 to 1. According to Cail, the building “has been completely remodeled floor to ceiling and will serve not only as a much needed space for our senior population, who will host public events on Saturday evenings and a few days through the week – this space will also be available for the public to rent out for private events, meetings or other special gatherings”.
