(Frankfort, KY) — Kentucky State Police is celebrating 75 years of service to the commonwealth. Troopers past and present gathered in Frankfort yesterday to honor three-quarters of a century working to protect the people of Kentucky. Governor Earle Clements established KSP all the way back in 1948, making Kentucky the 38th state to have a statewide police organization.
