On Sunday night, Windy Hollow Speedway hosted a night of side-by-side dirt slinging action including the $700-to-win “King of the Rusty Bolts” special.
Drivers met a new challenge on Sunday as track promoter brought in over 35 loads of additional dirt for the surface, adding a new learning curve for the field.
The highlight of the event was the “King of Rusty Bolts” which saw Owensboro’s James Embry turn a qualifying lap of 18.642 seconds, a runner up in his heat race and use his experience around the 3/8 mile oval to take home the crown and the $700 check.
