Walk Of Fame Star For Carrie Fisher On “Star Wars” Day

The late Carrie Fisher will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today. The name of the actress best known for her role as Princess Leia [[ LAY-uh ]] in the Star Wars trilogy will be memorialized on Hollywood Boulevard near the El Capitan Theatre on this “Star Wars Day.” She’ll join her co-stars Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford, who already have stars on the Walk of Fame. The Walk of Fame says in a statement that Fisher’s star will be just a few feet away from Hamill’s and across the street from the star of her mother, Hollywood legend Debbie Reynolds.
