Churchill Downs Responds To Horse Deaths

(Louisville, KY) — Churchill Downs is responding after a string of horse deaths at the racetrack. Four horses have died at the track since last Thursday, including two on the same day earlier this week. Churchill Downs described the series of events as “highly unusual” and “completely unacceptable.” They went on to say they are conducting investigations into the deaths and said the incidents are “alarming.” The Kentucky Derby is on Saturday.
