The black boxes have been recovered from two Army Black Hawk helicopters that crashed in Kentucky last month, killing nine soldiers. An aviation safety team from the Army Combat Readiness Center confirmed that the flight data and cockpit voice recorders have been sent to Fort Rucker, Alabama for analysis. The helicopters crashed during a night training mission near Fort Campbell on March 29th. The Army also announced that three of the nine soldiers who died have been posthumously promoted to the next higher grade.
