You’ve heard us talk about SLAMABAMA, a band with local ties who is shaking things up in the music world. Rosanna Carroll Juliano, and her husband Jay have been married for 13 years, with their musical collaboration starting two years before that. Jay is from Birmingham, Alabama, and Rosanna is an Owensboro native, a graduate of Apollo High School. They are now based out of Fargo, North Dakota, and their shows have been attended by thousands of loyal fans. One thing we here at WBIO have noticed, is that SLAMABAMA, while already an excellent band with tight harmonies and an upbeat stage presence, has improved even more over the years. Proof positive of this fact is SLAMABAMA‘s latest release, dropping TODAY (Wednesday, March 22), called “First Girl On The Moon.” As you’ll hear in the interview, this is the first project in a long time handled from first recording to final touches by Jay Juliano. It basically meant the band had full control over the process, and it shows! So take a listen to the interview with Jay and Rosanna from SLAMABAMA, and click THIS LINK to listen for yourself! There are several streaming options available. Listen to the March 21st interview below!
