The Cure’s Robert Smith Calls Dynamic Ticket Pricing “A Scam”

The frontman for The Cure is trying to do his part in giving fans a good show at “a fair price.”  Robert Smith says the band is using a “verified fan” approach for its upcoming North American tour.  While Smith agrees with Ticketmaster’s intent to “fight the scalpers,” he also calls the company’s dynamic ticket pricing “a bit of a scam.”  The Cure’s tour kicks off on May 10th in New Orleans.
