When the NTT Indy Car series makes their way to Indianapolis this May, there will be a familiar face on the entry list. The 2012 Indy Car Series Champion and 2014 Indianapolis 500 Champion will make his return in the #23 Chevrolet-powered Dreyer & Reinbold Racing (DRR) entry. The Florida resident looks to go for his 19th Indy Car Series win. “I’ve been eager to share this news for quite some time,” Hunter-Reay said. “This partnership with Dreyer & Reinbold Racing presents a unique opportunity for me, and I can’t wait to get back on track at IMS. I feel laser-focused and energized. The Indy 500 isn’t just a motor race. For me, it’s a way of life” says Hunter-Reay. He will be a teammate to Stefan Wilson who will be driving the #24 Chevrolet in a partnership with DRR and Cusick Motorsports.
