The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is issuing a health alert in connection with the revival that took place last month at a Kentucky college. A local resident who was un-vaccinated had been diagnosed with measles and the CDC confirmed the resident attended the revival at Asbury University for two days. University officials say the individual did not show symptoms at the revival, but the CDC says people infected with measles are contagious for four days before showing symptoms. The agency is advising those who attended the revival on February 17th or 18th to quarantine for 21 days if they are not fully vaccinated for measles.
