Kentucky is home to some of the least happy cities in the United States. Personal finance website Wallethub released the rankings ahead of the “International Day of Happiness,” which is March 20th. They’re based on 30 key indicators of happiness, from depression rate to income growth and leisure. Lexington-Fayette came in at 141 out of 182 cities, while Louisville ranked 157th. Fremont, California is considered the happiest city in the U.S., while Detroit, Michigan is dead last.
