Grateful Dead has tied Barbra Streisand for the third-most top 40 albums in history. “Dave’s Picks, Volume 45” debuted at number 18 on this week’s Billboard 200. “Dave’s Picks” is a series of live recordings from The Dead’s 1977 tour. Volume 45 is from the Paramount Theater in Portland, Oregon. The recordings have been compiled from band archivist David Lemieux [[ leh-MEW ]]. The two-CD set is Grateful Dead’s 54th top-40 album, putting the band only four albums behind all-time leader Frank Sinatra and three albums behind second-place Elvis Presley.
