The identity of a Grayson County murder victim has been released. According to Kentucky State Police, on Thursday, around 10:39am, troopers responded to a shooting in the community of Short Creek. Police say a confrontation occurred between neighbors 42-year-old Michael Baker and 46-year-old Benjamin Vibbert of Falls of Rough. At some point during the confrontation, Baker shot Vibbert, who was later pronounced deceased at the scene by the Grayson Co. Coroner’s Office. The victim’s body was taken to the Kentucky Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville. The case will later be turned over to the Grayson Co. Grand Jury.
