(Frankfort, KY) — Pandemic Medicaid is coming to an end in Kentucky. That’s according to Governor Andy Beshear who was speaking at his weekly Team Kentucky update in Frankfort yesterday. Beshear said the program is ending because the federal government is getting ready to end the pandemic state of emergency for COVID-19. The governor says there are other initiatives available for the program’s 260-thousand recipients in Kentucky and the transition will begin on March 1st. Beshear said there is more information to come and that he is bringing it up early to help people prepare.
