For the second time in less than a week, a violent incident took place at the Warren Juvenile Detention Center. According to a news release, around 6:30 Saturday night, three juveniles attacked a youth worker. The juveniles then barricaded themselves inside an office by blocking the door with a file cabinet. The Department of Juvenile Justice contacted the Kentucky State Police and the Warren County Regional Jail’s Critical Emergency Response Team for help. The situation was quickly resolved with no injuries. The juveniles involved are 16 years old and were in the facility facing charges of murder, first-degree robbery, and trafficking. The juveniles involved were different that the ones involved in an attack on staff last Monday.
