Tavius Walker has been named the ESPN Owensboro Apollo Eagle of the week brought to you by Canty Dairy Queen on highway 231 in Owensboro. The new year is here and the Reece’s Take 5 is the blizzard of the month! Hot eats, cool treats.
Walker, a sophomore wrestler, was named the most outstanding wrestler of the city county championships last week at Owensboro Catholic. Walker went undefeated during the meet and helped lead the Eagles to the 2023 city-county wrestling championship. He’s also a linebacker on the Eagles football team.
Walker and the Eagles return to action on February 11th for the regional tournament.
