The Owensboro Fire Department is recognizing its finest employees. The department has announced the recipients of its 2022 awards. Jordan Thomas was named Firefighter of the Year for the second year in a row, while Zerrick Wells was awarded EMS Responder of the Year. Voting and nominations for the awards are open to the public each year.
