The Kentucky Center for Statistics says unemployment is up over the last year in most counties across the commonwealth. Data from November 2021 to November 2022 shows the jobless rate rose in 84 counties, declined in 20 counties and stayed the same in 16 counties. Overall the state jobless rate of three-point-seven-percent this past November is a touch lower than the three-point-eight-percent in November of 2021. The national unemployment rate in November was three-point-four-percent.
