Renovations are still underway but it looks as if the new Michaels craft store in Owensboro will open on schedule. The store is taking over the space of the former Books-a-Million store on Frederica Street in Towne Square North Shopping Center. The arts and crafts and floral store hopes to open in late January with a grand opening in early February.
