(Los Angeles, CA) — The Backstreet Boys holiday special is being canceled after one of the singers is accused of rape. The Hollywood Reporter says “A Very Backstreet Holiday” was scheduled to run December 14th on ABC, but is now being replaced by comedy reruns. The cancelation follows a lawsuit that was filed Thursday accusing Nick Carter of raping a 17-year-old fan on a tour bus in 2001. The civil suit claims the underage fan was given an alcoholic beverage before being assaulted. Carter’s lawyer called the allegations “entirely untrue” and “legally meritless.”
