Jaylen Walker has been named the ESPN Owensboro Ohio County Eagle of the year brought to you by Canty Dairy Queen in Beaver Dam. Walker, a senior wide receiver and defensive back, tallied 6 rushing touchdowns, 3 receiving touchdowns, and 1 kickoff return touchdown this season for the Eagles. Walker also racked up 93 tackles and 1 fumble recovery on the defensive side of the ball.
Walker and the Eagles finished as the #4 seed in class 5A district 1, and made the playoffs in coach Terry Moeller’s first season in Hartford.
