Father Sentenced In Starvation Death Of His Own Son

A Bloomington father is sentenced to 65-years in prison for the death and abuse of his 12-year-old son.  More than three years ago, Luis Eduardo Posso Junior carried his son Eduardo’s lifeless body into a local emergency room where the boy was pronounced dead.  Despite his age, Eduardo was the size of a typical four-year-old boy after being deprived of food and water and had bruises and other signs of physical abuse.  During sentencing, Monroe Circuit Judge Christine Talley Hasemen called Posso’s behavior “incomprehensible, heinous, and cruel.”
