Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron is joining two dozen attorneys general in opposing the tracking of gun and ammunition purchases. The coalition of 24 states is asking the banks and three major credit card companies to avoid tracking and monitoring firearms and ammunition through Merchant Category Codes. Cameron says tracking information of law abiding Kentuckians could violate consumer protection laws and privacy rights.
