At least one Kentucky county Republican group says they’re fed up with Senator Mitch McConnell. McConnell has been censured by the Jessamine County Republican Party. The decision approved last week was announced Tuesday. It cites the Senator’s support of the recently passed gun bill as the reason for their decision. Jessamine County Republicans not only censured McConnell but they are calling for his resignation as Senate Republican Leader and say they will cease any and all support of him. The Jessamine GOP says there is no excuse for any elected Republican to work with Democrats to undermine constitutional rights.
