The new Team Kentucky Medical Cannabis Advisory Committee met in Frankfort for the first time Monday, as they attempt provide the Beshear administration with expertise on providing Kentuckians with certain medical conditions access to cannabis, or medical marijuana. The 17-member group was hand-picked by Governor Andy Beshear to discuss the issue around the state. They will host a series of town halls, and will be separated into four regions, East, West, North and Central Kentucky. The next meetings will be July 6th in Pikeville and then again on July 19th in Frankfort.
