Atmos Energy and Habitat for Humanity are collaborating on a plan to build the first Zero Net Energy house in Kentucky. The home is designed to produce as much energy as it uses. It will be equipped with energy efficient appliances and solar technology. A groundbreaking ceremony in the 1500 block of Independence Avenue is planned for next Tuesday, June 14th at 1pm.
