The former Kmart building in Owensboro is getting new life. The building in Wesleyan Park Plaza is now owned by the Advance Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. A total renovation is planned both to the interior and exterior at the new location on Frederica Street. The facility will open in 2023 and will be equipped with expanded clinical and therapy space and state of the art diagnostic capability. The space to the right of the former Kmart was previously transformed into the current location of Shoe Stop.
