A Jasper man was arrested Monday after being caught driving 105 miles per hour on I-69. Indiana State Police say a sergeant was patrolling I-69 in Gibson County when he stopped a driver for speeding. The driver was identified as Matthew Hill, of Jasper. ISP says Hill showed signs of impairment and failed field sobriety tests. Hill was arrested and is being held on bond in the Gibson County Jail. His blood alcohol level was .19 percent. Hill is facing a charge for operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a BAC of .15% or more.
