The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office reports at approximately 7:07 a.m. this morning, Central Dispatch received a call regarding skeletal remains on Pleasant Valley Road. Upon investigation, Deputies and Detectives with DCSO found the skeletal remains of an unknown person located on the 1500 block of Pleasant Valley Road. The remains were discovered approximately 15 feet from the roadway, laying on top of riprap rock.
The remains were transported to the State Medical Examiner’s office for autopsy. The skeletal remains are believed to be known. Notification of next of kin is in process.
The investigation is ongoing.
