New business is coming to Owensboro. Owners of the Tropical Smoothie Cafe say a second location will be opening in mid-June. The original location is at the corner of Federica Street and Emory Drive. Like the original Tropical Smoothie the new Owensboro location in the Gateway Commons area off 54 will have a drive-thru and a food menu. Around 30 jobs will be created by the new business.
