KANYE GOES TO HAITI: According to TMZ, Kanye West visited Haiti this past weekend. The rap and fashion icon was greeted by Haitian President Jovenel Moise, who gave Kanye a guided tour. Kanye was later spotted dancing with the locals during a celebration. No word on why he traveled to Haiti. In other news, despite divorce rumors, Kim Kardashian posted a pic of her and Kanye at a friends wedding, along with the caption, “Date night.”
SLIM JXMMI ACCUSED OF ASSAULTING PREGNANT GIRLFRIEND: According to The Shade Room, Slim Jxmmi of Rae Sremmurd is now single after he allegedly knocked his pregnant ex-girlfriend Kee's front tooth out during an argument. A source close to the situation said that Kee, who is almost six months pregnant, and Jxmmi got into the argument two months ago and he allegedly punched her in the mouth, knocking out her front tooth and broke the bone in her gums. Since the alleged incident, Jxmmi reportedly paid for Kee to get veneers to replace her tooth. The source added that Jxmmi and Kee's relationship had been physically abusive for a while, saying that she was “his punching bag” following Jxmmi's death earlier this year. Reports say that Kee hasn't pressed charges out of fear that he would retaliate. The source told the site that Kee is in a safe environment and plans to stay away from Jxmmi during the rest of her pregnancy. Meanwhile, Jxmmi's mother seemingly confirmed that the story was true, saying, “I don’t know who needs to head this…men have a right to defend themselves from abusive toxic women.”
LIL WAYNE'S GIRLFRIEND SHARES BIRTHDAY MESSAGE ON INSTAGRAM: Lil Wayne's girlfriend Denise Bidot shared a loving message to her boyfriend on her Instagram page on his birthday yesterday (September 27th). EVE SAYS SHE NO LONGER THINKS ABOUT RACE AFTER MARRYING HER WHITE HUSBAND MAXIMILLION COOPER: Eve is getting dragged online after saying that she no longer thinks about race since marrying her white husband Maximillion Cooper during an interview. During TV One's Uncensored, the rapper and talk show host said, “I don’t think about our race. I don’t. When we first got together, yeah, of course. I had never been with a white guy seriously like that. So yeah, I definitely thought about it. But we are so honest with each other that we have discussions, and that’s a beautiful thing.”
UNCLE LUKE'S WIFE FILES FOR DIVORCE: Uncle Luke's wife Kristin Thompson has filed for divorce after 12 years of marriage. According to Page Six, Luke said he was shocked. He explained, “It’s mind-boggling, hurtful, and a total surprise. I never intended to get married to get divorced. That’s not in my DNA nor my family’s history. I believe in the sacred vows, for better or worse, but I have to respect her decision.” Luke continued, saying that he did not cheat on his wife, nor was he abusive in anyway. He added, “I am now trying to make peace with her decision as best as I can. It will take time. The most important focus for me now is our son and being the best parent I can in this situation.” He concluded by saying, “Please understand this is not a nasty split, so I would ask all who are aware, not to speak on our personal lives and respect our privacy by staying positive for our son’s sake.” Thompson reportedly filed for divorce on July 17th, 2020, and the two have a son together.
KAMALA HARRIS THINKS TUPAC IS THE 'BEST RAPPER ALIVE': During an interview with Angela Rye on her On 1 With Angela Rye podcast, Kamala Harris revealed that she thinks Tupac is the “best rapper alive.” After Rye pointed out that Pac is no longer among the living, Harris laughed and said, “I keep doing that.” She added, “Listen, West Coast girls think Tupac lives on.
