An Owensboro man is in jail after a several hour standoff. While U.S. Marshals were attempting to serve a federal indictment warrant, the Owensboro Police Department was called to the 3900 block of Evergreen Drive Tuesday at approximately 12:52 p.m. to assist. 35-year old Michael Farrow, who was being served, climbed through an apartment attic that was adjacent to his residence and barricaded himself for several hours. The residents of that apartment were able to escape unharmed. The Owensboro Police Department Emergency Response Team, along with the Hazardous Device Unit, responded and ultimately took Mr. Fairrow into custody without incident.
Fairrow is currently lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center.
