The flash flood warning has long expired in Daviess County but the standing water remains. Owensboro Innovation Academy on South Griffith got a late start to virtual learning today due to teachers not being able to reach the school due to flooding in the area. Owensboro Catholic High school ended up closing for the day due to high rising water. If you are in need of traveling to the West Parrish Area, you may want to call ahead.
