A statewide mask mandate began today in Indiana. The state is one of many others around the country that require residents to wear face coverings while in public. Governor Eric Holcomb admits wearing a mask can be odd, but it’s done to help slow the spread. Dr. Lindsay Weaver with the state Health Department says almost 40-percent of those who are known to have the coronavirus were asymptomatic. She says that’s just another reason to mask up when out and about.
