The high number of absentee ballots to be counted makes it impossible to declare a winner in Kentucky’s Democratic Senate primary race. Charles Booker and Amy McGrath are vying for the nomination which earns the winner the right to face incumbent Republican Senator Mitch McConnell. McGrath has an early lead of about four points over Booker but votes are not tallied from Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky’s two largest cities.
