Union officials say contract negotiations with Glenmore Distillery are at a standstill. A spokesperson for United Food and Commercial Workers Local 227 says Glenmore’s latest offer cuts pay for future workers and increases health care costs. A spokesperson for Glenmore says team members were offered raises and their benefits would be maintained. If an agreement can’t be reached, union officials say company workers could call a strike.
