The unemployment rate in Kentucky inches up. Statistics released today shows the jobless rate in the commonwealth was four-point-three-percent in January. That’s up from four-point-two- percent in December. The lowest unemployment rate in the state is in Oldham County at three-point-three-percent and Shelby County registers three-point-four-percent unemployment. Magoffin County has the highest jobless rate in the state at 14-point-eight-percent.
