The Owensboro Family YMCA board is closing a branch. The YMCA announced the closing of the Athenian branch on Chuck Gray Court effective December 1st. Officials cited member usage and financial realities among the reasons for closing the facility. The “Y” said it did a detailed study before making the decision.
