Saturday will mark six years since the murder of Bardstown police officer Jason Ellis. Ellis was shot and killed early in the morning of May 25th, 2013 when he stopped his vehicle on the Bluegrass Parkway exit ramp to remove debris. Authorities say the debris was deliberately placed there. The FBI is offering a reward of up to 50-thousand dollars for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the killer.
